This turned out to be a great idea.
I built a medium box with a window in the side.
When I started using it I was also in the process of experimenting with starter strips.
So, I started the box with 1 drawn frame and 9 frames with just strips, that way you could see into the box.
The pic's tell the story, it was great fun to watch!
